DC: The New Frontier is an Eisner, Harvey, and Shuster Award-winning six-issue comic book limited series written and drawn by Darwyn Cooke, published by DC Comics in 2003-2004. It was then collected into two trade paperback volumes from 2004–2005 and then an Absolute Edition in 2006. The story was adapted as an animated movie titled Justice League: The New Frontier, and released on February 26, 2008. The series was influenced by works such as Kingdom Come, The Golden Age, Watchmen, and The Dark Knight Returns. Much like The Golden Age, New Frontier takes place primarily in the 1950s, and depicts the Golden Age superheroes Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman meeting Silver Age characters the Flash, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter. The story bridges the gap from the end of the Golden Age to the beginning of the Silver Age in the DC Universe.

Lois Lane is the persistent, curious, impulsive, intelligent, headstrong, audacious, hard-working, ambitious, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist for the world-renown Daily Planet.

Over the years Lois has appeared in more than thousands of comics, so what I did was pick most of my favourite issues in which basically the writer stayed true to Lois’ character. All issues are compiled in .zip files by year of publication.  Since I’m only focusing on Lois some issues may be totally random. If you have any questions about major story arcs or anything of that sort, my ask is always open.

Born out of clay on Paradise Island to the race of Amazons, Diana was given beauty and a kind heart from Aphrodite, wisdom from Athena, strength and endurance from Demeter, hunting instincts and animal-communication from Artemis, and speed and flight from Hermes to fight against evil in all of its forms. A founding member of the Justice League of America and a member of DC’s Trinity, she’s a princess, a warrior and an ambassador to the world of man send to spread their idealistic message of strength and love.
For everyone who wanted to read about Diana but didn’t know where to start, this is the post for you. Here are most of the fan-favorite WW arcs published since 1985.
All comics are in order and separated by arc in zip files. If you are not used to reading comics on your computer, you should get CDisplay for Windows or FFView for Mac to read the .cbz files or you can always unzip them and get the .jpgs
Wonder Woman volume 2After the Crisis on Infinite Earths series, George Pérez, Len Wein, and Greg Potter relaunched the character, writing Diana as an emissary and ambassador from Themyscira to Patriarch’s World, charged with the mission of bringing peace to the outside world.

George Perez’s run: Wonder Woman: Gods and Mortals - (#1-7) || Wonder Woman: Challenge of the Gods - (#8-14) || Wonder Woman: Beauty and the Beasts - (#15-19) || Wonder Woman: Destiny Calling - (#20-24) ||Bill Messner-Loebs’ run:Wonder Woman: The Contest - (#90-93) || Wonder Woman: The Challenge of Artemis - (#94-100) || Phil Jimenez’s run:  Wonder Woman: Paradise Lost - (#164-170) || Wonder Woman: Paradise Found - (#171-177) ||Greg Rucka’s run: Wonder Woman: Down to Earth - (#195-200) || Wonder Woman: Bitter Rivals - (#201-205) || Wonder Woman: Eyes of the Gorgon - (#206-213) || Wonder Woman: Land of the Dead - (#214-217) || Wonder Woman: Mission’s End - (#218-226) || In my humble opinion, this run is a MUST read.

Wonder Woman volume 3 Following after Infinite Crisis, Wonder Woman was canceled and relaunched in 2006. It starts with Donna Troy as Wonder Woman and with Diana missing. When Diana returns she takes on the name of Diana Prince and becomes a secret agent for the Department of Metahuman Affairs. Her first assignment is to retrieve her kidnapped sister Donna Troy. After this was accomplished Diana took back the mantle of Wonder Woman.

This is my Mom. In the beginning of last month, I called the paramedics because she wasn’t able to stand up. She had been having flu like symptoms for a while, but we thought nothing of it. When we arrived at the ER, the doctor examined her and told us that she had somehow acquired a flesh-eating bacteria that was gangrenous, and he said that it was very possible she wasn’t going to live through the night. My Mom endured three emergency surgeries that night, and has pulled through with amazing strength. It’s been almost a month now, and she’s still in the hospital—undergoing reconstructive surgery as I write this.
She doesn’t know how beautiful she is, she doesn’t understand how much she adds to this world. Her goofy sense of humour, her wit, her love, and her hugs, they all saved my life so many times, and brightened the lives of others.
I’ve never written anything like this before, but would anyone mind reblogging this to show your support, and to tell her and show her how much she’s loved and appreciated? I know it would mean the world to her.
